Community Resources
As disciples of Jesus Christ, our calling is to address the needs of all those within our congregation and beyond as best as we can.
Please see the information we have compiled below in order to learn about any resources
that may be of assistance to you and your family during this time.
( The information below has been graciously compiled by a host of Bethel Members. Thank you! )

Mental Health
Resources
William James College continues to offer free online groups on topics like parenting, working from home, and mindfulness to provide support during COVID-19. The calendar of events is regularly updated, and the page is now organized by topic. We've added dates for most existing sessions. New offerings include a support and networking group for Asian Mental Health counselors and a drop-in support and training for managers of behavioral health and community services organizations.
Financial Assistance
UNION CAPITAL BOSTON
"Established a one-time direct gift campaign to send Visa gift cards to those who need it urgently in the Greater Boston area. 100% of donations will go to families in need."
FUNERAL FUND FOUNDATION
This fund is designed to be flexible and will provide grants for immediate needs including funeral service emergency response to significant loss of life, to organizations and resources providing service to families with unresolved and complicated grief due to loss during this crisis, and for other important needs of the funeral service profession and the families we serve.

Census 2020
When the U.S. Census Bureau knows how many people live in our community, organizations and businesses are better equipped to evaluate the services and programs needed, such as clinics, schools, and roads.
It also determines how seats in Congress are distributed among the 50 states.
In March 2020, the U.S. Census Bureau will send every household an invitation to complete a simple questionnaire about who lives at your address on April 1.
You will have the opportunity to respond online, by phone, or by mail, and federal law keeps those responses safe and secure.
Attorney General's Complaint Hotline for Renters & Homeowners
We’ve been hearing reports, through our membership in the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, that people are being harassed by landlords or not getting the consideration and help they should be receiving from mortgage companies or banks.
