Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO)

Trains and organize faith-based organiztions in the Greater Boston area across all religious, racial, ethnic, class and neighborhood lines for the public good. GBIO’s primary goal is to develop local leadership and organized power to fight for social justice.

My Sister’s Keeper

Provides support to women and youth of South Sudan in their efforts to restore health and wholeness to their war-torn communities. The group has developed two grinding mill projects, supports a primary school for girls in the rural village of Akon, and trains women to be advocates for peace.

Foundation for African Relief (FAR)

Alleviates suffering and reduces the burden of disease and poverty on the peoples of Africa. FAR partners with local leaders to build effective and sustainable programs that provide: health care, community health education, provider training, and relief assistance to people and communities living in African nations.

Massachusetts Community Outreach Initiative (MCOI)

The Massachusetts Community outreach Initiative (MCOI) ia a liaison to faith-based organizations and community agencies for adult ex-offenders, designed to aid the transition from the correctional institution to the community.
