Bethel Institute for Social Justice’s mission is to provide educational and social services to high-risk youth and families in Greater Boston in ways that measurably transform their lives and the communities in which they live.
Trains and organize faith-based organiztions in the Greater Boston area across all religious, racial, ethnic, class and neighborhood lines for the public good. GBIO’s primary goal is to develop local leadership and organized power to fight for social justice.
Provides support to women and youth of South Sudan in their efforts to restore health and wholeness to their war-torn communities. The group has developed two grinding mill projects, supports a primary school for girls in the rural village of Akon, and trains women to be advocates for peace.
Alleviates suffering and reduces the burden of disease and poverty on the peoples of Africa. FAR partners with local leaders to build effective and sustainable programs that provide: health care, community health education, provider training, and relief assistance to people and communities living in African nations.
